This Privacy Policy explains how Casado & Company Pty Ltd, trading as V.Athletes(“V.Athletes”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you visit v-athletes.com and register your interest in our waitlist.
V.Athletes is currently a pre-launch waitlist, not a live product. This policy covers what happens to your information at this stage; it will be updated as the product develops.
This site is by invitation and is intended for athletes, brand and sponsorship representatives, and sports agents or managers who choose to register their interest. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18 years of age. If you are registering on behalf of an athlete under 18, please contact us directly rather than using the form.
Contact and identity. Your name, email address, country, and language preference (English or Portuguese).
Waitlist details. Depending on which of the three registration paths you use:
Technical data. Standard log data (such as IP address and request metadata) used for security and reliability, and a session cookie or equivalent used to remember your theme and language preference. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We use reputable third-party providers for hosting, data storage, and email delivery in order to operate this waitlist. As our technical infrastructure is finalised, we will list the specific providers here. We do not permit any provider to use your information to train AI models or for any purpose other than operating V.Athletes on our behalf.
Depending on where you are located, your information may be processed in a country other than your own, including Australia, where we are based. Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.
We keep your waitlist information for as long as it is reasonably needed to assess your interest and contact you about V.Athletes, and afterwards only as required to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
You can request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing contact@v-athletes.comwith the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will delete the personal information we hold about you — including your waitlist entry — typically within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. We will confirm by email once your request has been actioned.
Depending on where you live — including under the Australian Privacy Act, the Brazilian LGPD, or the EU/UK GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@v-athletes.com.
We protect your information using encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
We may update this policy as V.Athletes develops from a waitlist into a live product. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
